Zynga Release Exclusive CastleVille Video Before Release Date

Ever since Zynga announced their new CastleVille game the internet has been buzzing with discussion about what it might entail. Today we can finally reveal a bit more of that story by sharing this exclusive video from Zynga which introduces several of the characters including; Tom the dragon slayer, George the miner, Raphael the playboy, Sonia the gold digging pirate and Evette the fair maiden.

Brand New Leaked CastleVille Screenshots

Zynga have released 5 screenshots of in-game action of their newest project, CastleVille.

The screenshot show the fantastic vibrant colours used for the large comical looking characters and detailed buildings without revealing much information about the game. There are clearly buildings for different uses such as catapults, guillotines, cannons and towers for protection of your kingdom, workshops and bakeries for food and accessories and fountain and flowers for decoration. This promises to allow you to create and design your own unique kingdom to show off and make your neighbours jealous.

The photos all show the creepy looking areas outside of your walls with broken logs and skeletons suggesting there will be plenty more to explore as long as you are well protected. There also seems to be an evil looking rat wit blue eyes, a white dragon and what can only be described as a cactus in a dress. As the rat has a sword and shield icon hovering over it, we can assume that it is one of the creatures that you are expected and needed to fight in order to explore further into unseen territories.

Hopefully Zynga will release some more photos in the not too distant future so we can see some more details of what the game will bring. Stay tuned.

Zynga release its next ‘Ville’ game: CastleVille

Zynga release its next ‘Ville’ game: CastleVille. A socially active MMO game set in the medieval era follows on from their huge Facebook hit Farmville.

CastleVille from Zynga

Beginning on a small area of your own land, you can begin to build your own fortress inside your kingdom to protect yourself from a range of dangerous beasts who will try to take your CastleVille cash and take over your rule. The journey will be a long one, which will see you build a variety of different buildings in order to assist your quest in becoming by trade, conquest or democracy.

By taking control of a chivalrous knight, you will need to explore the territory outside of your kingdoms realm to meet and trade with your neighbours and make friends…or foes! Along your journey you will find many other characters who will aid you with quests, hints and tips in order to improve yourself. Within your city you have the ability to create things such as armour and magic potions to help you protect yourself from the myriad of beats who will try to knock down your walls and plunder your kingdom.

The graphics use bright colours and a medieval setting to create a mysterious landscape with plenty for you to search and discover. The designers have created elaborate 3D animations for the games characters which aim to set it apart from all other social media games. The few screenshots that have been released show the breathtaking scenery, a number of sweet wild animals and cool beasts, warriors and princesses all for you to explore.

A big part of this game is the impressive soundtrack which can be heard from the grunts of goblins, rusty gates to realistic battle sounds and chants. It’s all in the creators mind to make this game feel more realistic than a social media game, but closer to a MMORPG such as Runescape, but with all the CastleVille perks.

With the release date being kept secretive, we hope to see more screenshots and other snippets of information into what will surely be the next big addictive game on Facebook.
